In a nutshell, vissual impairment is expensive and in some places in our country, still perceived ominous. When i completely lost my sight, my parents, just like other parents didn't know what to do with me. After lots of deliberation they took me to a regular school in our local town. There, there were no SN trainees, no facilities, no individualized education programme and even more sad, the school was very populated, very poorly and uninclussive in structure. But i don't blame them. The school now is very inclusive in infrastructure, personel and information. The challenges were radical but the milestones are significant
